Performance Analysis
Drawn from 2 tests. Updated October 29, 2026.
The Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact shows the same dry-versus-wet balance in two ADAC tests in 175/65 R14. It finished 11th of 16 in 2014, with acceptable dry-road performance but relatively weak wet grip. In 2018 it was tenth of 14, again described as good in the dry and relatively weak in the wet.
Low wear was an additional positive in the 2018 test. These results support dry performance and wear resistance more than wet-road ability, but there are no individual stopping distances or handling placings to separate the wet weaknesses further.
