I ride the VR2 NK in slalom and I'm really impressed. In the dry, it's almost slick-like. The grip is truly amazing, and the tire warms up quickly, even in the medium compound. Really great for the price. Unfortunately, wear is very high. They only last me 12-15 races, so less than a season. The soft tire lasts even less. For the price, though, I'll still buy them again because the grip really impresses me. In the wet, the semi-tread works relatively well, too. But of course, it can't be compared to a rain tire.

On the road they are a bit harsh as the compound that i chose is the one with reinforced sidewall (R7A Medium 140 TW) and the NK (new carcass) variant and they do whine a bit when slowing down especially. They grip well, hard to get them to slip, heat up very quickly and are easy to manage. For the price i would highly recommend them.

Extreme Performance VR1 245-40-18- Mazda 120 miles December 16, 2023
I wear the vr1 v2 on a Mazda rx8, I tried them on the Serres track for a time attack and on a mountain. Inside the track I couldn't find ideal pressures to be able to push it and have the desired time. I tried from 28 PSI to 34 PSI. However, I exceeded my expectations on the track, I think it is about 1.5 seconds slower than the Michelin cup 2. On the mountain it has very good grip and in the wet it has very good feedback, it is very pleasant. My comment is wrong because the tire is aimed at drift while I am talking about time attack, still it is value for money but next time I will pay a few more money to put a tire like Michelin cup 2.

BMW E36 3.0i 1200kg,on 225/45/17 R7A: amazing on dry trackday ,very predictable compared with Federal and Westlake, consistent for more than 6 hard laps without cooling. The gripp is phenomenal from the first lap.I'm hard on brakes with CL RC 6 and never lock wheels even without ABS..amazing. Not tested in wet condition. For this price i'll never buy another semislick tire. Wear is normal for track use.

Hi, i´ve driven the 651 Sport (200TW), Federal 595Rs-Pro, Nankang NS2R (120TW) on my 1994 E36 Compact. These Tires feel happy around 2-3° Camber at the Track, but since I tried the VR2 R7A, the Car needed 4-5° Camber in the Front. The VR2 is in my Opinion clearly a Semislick, not another UUHP/Extreme Performance Tire. My Car weighs 1040kg, Power ~230-250hp. Coldpressure F+R 1,7-1,8Bar. Hot 2,2-2,3Bar. I´ll def. buy them again.

used for hill climbs 10 wins from 10 starts, loads of grip and feel, progressive slides good under brakes and go where you point them, road noise very high, wet grip good, tire wear ok about the same as any other track tire, and big bonus there cheap
