I will never buy again these tires, brodgestone battlax bt023, when i have bought my motorcycle it came with battlax bt021, no grip on these tires, than i have changed to dunlop roadsmart sportmax, awesome tires, makes my gsx650fk8 awesome, very good handling and a lot of grip on the edges and on wet asphalt. But on battlax bt023 you have no grip on dry asphalt on asphalt painnt, and when it's raining you have no grip at all, just rev my motorcycle in 2nd speed at 7000 rpm and back wheel starts spining, with dunlop i should rev it to 10-11000 rev to spin my back tire. I will never buy bridgestone tires, dunlop and michelin are kings of the roads.

New pair came fitted to my VFR800 and I was disappointed almost all round. Dry grip was good but I'm not the knee down sort of guy! I do lots of upright motorway/A road stuff and rear tire squared in a instant. I ride 365 days a year and pride myself on wet riding skills (you get a lot it practice in England) but these let me down big time. I have lots of wheel spin when on the power and they are quite vague and uninspiring.

I had these fitted on My SV650S and they were great. Very good in the wet with a lot of confidence in even torrential downpours. Good in the dry but not a sports tire though they did give lots of feedback before they would slide. Good warm up times even on very cold days and even in the wet. Easy enough dry grip for knee down antics and a good neutral turn in that was nice and progressive. I will fit these as a good all purpose tire to my blade ready for the winter knowing that they will last till the next summer.

I'm really satisfied with the bT 023, but with only 7000 km (around 4500 miles)they show an inusual transversal "steps" in the sides of the tire. I must say the bike is always heavily charged, so maybe that's why this happens. Having this unusual thing makes me lose confidence, and I expect tires to last around 12000 km (around 7500 miles), the previous ones (BT 021) lasted 11000 (7000 miles).

Fantastic tires!!!! Have about 2000 left on second set and will be definitely buying another set of these. Fantastic tire all year round. Covered about 8500 miles (over 7000 legal tread :)) Have done every condition you can imagine... dry, wet, hot, cold, sleet, snow, even ice.... never ever let me down. Can only recommend.

What a fantastic tire! I put these tires on my Yamaha FZ6 in at the beginning of March and they have now covered 4,000 miles. I have recently returned from a 2,500 mile road trip around France, and I'm pleased to report the tires never missed a beat! We rode through conditions ranging from torrential rain through to glorious sunshine, which included mile after mile of motorway riding, as well as some great fun on the pyrenees twisties! The bike was fully loaded with 2x 40L panniers, a 48L top box and tank bag, and still the tires gripped whilst being thrown around the mountain roads with no hesitation at all.

Before going a friend warned that I should change the tires (having only covered 2,000 miles at this point) as they will be 'shredded' by the time I return. He couldn't have been more wrong! The tires still have loads of life left, and despite the amount of motorway miles we covered, only have a mild flat spot.

Bridgestone have recently released the T30, meaning there may be some great deals to be had should you choose BT023's as your next tire(s). I certainly know that the BT023's will be my tire of choice when the change is due!

I fitted these to my TT600 last year, but only done 200ish mls on them,
must admit i did not know they were touring tires as i have hammered them
where ever i go (a) roads country lanes, would like to try these on a trackday
was thinking though of fitting 'conti road attacks' next time round?

I am running the 021 front and rear but my front needed replaced. I now have the 023 on the front and what a diffrence i feel on the handling and braking even in the cold. Will be defo be putting the same on the bk when its due....

Front wears quicker on ZZR1200> front wear is my indicator for changing tires

Using on a Kawasaki ZZR1200, Isle of Man (not the best roads- many negative camber bends), climate is cool and rarely above 20degrees (real feel). Bike originally fitted with BT020 which wore rather quickly, replaced with BT021 (better wear) and now have a few thousand miles wear on BT023, front and rear wear is significantly better than both predecessors (BT020 and BT021). I have had my tires tampered with and have lost air out of both, did not notice immediately(both almost flat) but yes could ride these at high speed almost flat (in cool climate) without any noticeable damage. I recall a cold day in winter (pressures good (around 40/ 41 - both) bike hit a gentle double wheel slide mid bend and both tires caught the bike at the same time meaning no crash, have had a double wheel slide on BT016 also in wet on lean and again was able to pick it up. Never had the BT023 step out of line, I don't ride on the edge, do ride straight line fast but do ride with cold conditions.. Bridgestones have never let me down- wear is better that Conti Road attacks (seem softer). this never has a problem throwing the torque down, they stop well, neutral cornering for predicatble riding.. have considered pilot road 3 as alternative but prefer considering BT023 GT next (extra centre belt on rear) to see how they perform before moving brands. safe riding!

My Honda CB600F ABS Hornet came with Michelin Pilots as original fitment - I was never happy with these so junked them early for a pair of BT021's as they suited my previous Fazer 600 very well. I've been riding for 50 years and still ride every day racking up about 8K miles a year. I have NEVER had a set of tires so completely transform the feel of a bike (for the better). Not only was the feedback and grip massively improved, it felt like the suspension had had a major work-over. These were replaced in due course by the BT023 which improved things even more. They work as part of the suspension and comfort levels are increased as well as longevity. Grip and stability are faultless, wet or dry. Even on snow they have been the best tire I have used.
My latest bike is an Aprilia shiver SL750 GT and I will be choosing the BT023 again.

Hi, Oct 2012, I used this review to decide which tires to buy to replace mine on my 1997 ST1100 Pan (non ABS/TCS model) only this week. Thank you to the chap who wrote his review previously because I bought a matching pair of these BT023 based on him and have just been out for a 'sighting' run of about 40 A and B type country road miles. I was coming back and I just had to write a review of my own to repay the compliment and help someone else out. FANTASTIC is the word I'd use to describe them. The tires have loads of feedback, they feel very very secure in particular, very comfortable, quiet tires, NO STEERING SHIMMY OR WOBBLE AT ALL with both hands off the bars, lovely profile to them and the Pan rolls from side to side beautifully. I am not a hard rider but a very experienced road rider of some +20 years and these are superb even from the off. Once I've a few hundred miles on them they'll be no doubt even better. Haven't tried them wet but I anticipate good results. If you have an old Pan GET THESE!! They are a little more expensive than other named brands but boy are they worth it. By the way ensure you choose the correct profile tires as they are different for the ABS/TCS model.

Well here is an updat as I had only riden 350 miles when I wrote my review. I really acnt belive how good these tires are, I have now riden in the rain and to say they were good is an understatment. They give so much confidence its scary. I was out the other day and there was a lot of standing water on th eroad but these tires handled everything.
I've been told that Bridgestone is getting a tire to replace these at the end of 2012!! If they do the new tire will have big shoes to fill!!
