I changed from my worn out Hakka 8 studded tires to this tire and I'm pleasantly surprised after some initial miles. Keeping in mind that this is a nordic friction tire the dry is acceptable. Wet handling is good and above average grip from all the nordic winter tires i have driven so far.
Snow grip is good and very predictable, ice grip is good for a friction tire but if you need ice grip studded tires are the way to go.
Where the tire really shines is the comfort and noise part. Very quiet impression and the comfort has a rounded/isolated feel to it.

Previously owned the Michelin alpin 4a on a volkswagen tiguan. Fantastic tires, Decided to choose the new version for my Fiat Panda cross. The x ice snow is an amazing tire.
