Worst ResultPerformance Analysis
Across three independent summer tire tests (2024-2026), the Goodride Solmax 1 shows a consistent pattern of low overall competitiveness, averaging a 10.3 overall position and finishing last in the 2025 EV test (8/8) and near the bottom in 2026 (11/13) and 2024 (12/16). The most repeatable dynamic weakness is braking-especially in the wet-where it repeatedly posts some of the longest stopping distances and last-place results, alongside poor/unsafe subjective dry behaviour in the 2026 test.
Its clearer positives are cost and some aquaplaning metrics: it ranks 1st for value in the 2025 EV test and shows strong curved-aquaplaning performance in both 2024 and 2025 (3rd in each). Noise is also generally competitive (notably 2nd in 2026). However, efficiency/durability-related metrics are mixed-to-poor: rolling resistance is very weak in 2026 (last, +40.3% vs best), and wear/abrasion is near-bottom in ADAC 2024, limiting the tire's overall proposition despite low purchase price.
