Top 3 General Grabber GT Plus Reviews

Given 87% while driving a Mitsubishi Outlander (225/55 R18) on a combination of roads for 6,000 average miles
I purchased a set of General Grabber GT Plus tires to replace the OEM factory Toyo R37 tires the vehicle came with. I was attracted to the SUV specifications and technology indicated on the General Tire website. So far my choice seems to have paid off with better comfort and less noise. Wet and dry handling are good and the tires appear to be of sturdier construction with a more chunky off-road style appearance. I was half expecting them to be an off-road winter rated compound but this is just a summer tire apparently. You have to move up to General Grabber AT3 for actual off-road and winter specs. As I drive mostly on tarmac roads in Wales I felt the better fuel economy and wet rating of the Grabber Plus over Grabber AT3 made more sense on a daily basis in a moderate wet climate. Highly recommended.

Given 91% while driving a Land Rover Freelander 2 (235/60 R18) on mostly country roads for 29,000 average miles
Very good tires all round. There definately is some understeer in dry and wet but these are on a Freelander 2 not something I push into corners too hard! Comfort and noise were important to me and gt plus does well on these compared to other tires I've had. Car feels undisturbed by large puddles on these tires.
I tow a box trailer regularly upto 2 tonne so to get 29000 miles out of these tires I was quite happy with.

Given 76% while driving a Honda CR V III (225/60 R17) on a combination of roads for 13,000 average miles
They were very uncomfortable and unprecise tires. You could never point them into direction you wanted to go. When driving fast on German motorway it was sometimes dangerous, especially on when taking long fast curves. It was also pretty loud. Wear was excellent though.
