Founded in 2006, Tire Reviews was born out of a passion for tires and the need for unbiased information. It has since become the world's leading independent tire information source, with its websites in English, French, and German attracting millions of visitors each month.

In 2017 Tire Reviews relaunched its YouTube channel. Fronted by the Tire Reviews founder Jonathan Benson, it quickly became by far the most watched tire related channel on YouTube with an average of nearly 500,000 views per video .

In 2019, Tire Reviews solidified its position as the ultimate authority on tire information for Europe and North America by publishing its first comparative tire test.
