Honda Civic Si Sedan Tire Review Highlights
Coming from the Continental Extreme Contact DW prior to this set, These were not too bad. I live in Los Angeles, so they never got to see snow. I did go up Mt. Wilson with these once in early spring and saw small patches of snow on the ground, but the road was wet, not snowy if that makes sense. Let me clear, these tires let you feel everything on the road.. If there's a stone on the road, you will feel it. The sidewall has decent flex. And When I compare them to the Conti or even the Firestone Indy 500 that I have on my other set of wheels, the tire's sidewall does give some comfort and will flex when cornering hard. At the time of this writing, I no longer run on these tires. I still have them on my OE wheels, but I will be changing them out this spring, but since I'm driving on my Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, there's no rush to do so since they have plenty of tread on the Firestones. The reason for swapping out the Michelins is because they have aged out. they are too old and too stiff to drive on safely.

As I write this review, this tire is no longer in production. I still have them on my OEM wheels, but I don’t use them anymore. I drive a 2009 Honda Civic Si and it’s a lightweight car. So much so that these tires have aged out before I can wear the tread down.
I enjoyed these tires, and their performance in the rain was confidence inspiring. They were quiet, and had low rolling resistance. But now that they have aged out, they have become extremely hard and I feel everything on the road. Going to replace them with Falken Azenis FK460 A/S because the Michelins that replaced these are now out of my price range. And since the tires age out before I can wear down the tread, it doesn’t make sense for me to buy premium tires anymore.

Have been running on these tires for about a week and I must say it is fantastic. Dry grip is superb, handling is so precise and very predictable in the wet. Noise levels in the cabin is acceptable for such an extreme UHP tire, at least there's a difference in quietness compared to my previous tire. For those who are looking for a sporty tire with a sporty look I would definitely recommend this tire. Thumbs up!

Previously I owed Toyo Garit winter tires (no longer available) and I was absolutely amazed with the winter grip, braking and cornering.
in October 2022 I purchased Toyo GSi 6 tires for my Honda civic sedan. The first winter storm in Calgary Canada quickly paid for them. I was able to momentarily brake and then quickly steer clear of a an unexpected vehicle and bus interaction in front of me. Yes, you can always driver more defensively to avoid these type of interactions. This time I wasn't and couldn't. My daughter as a passenger said "how on earth did you just do that! I simply shouted in delight "Toyo GSi 6s Baby!"

They’re a good cheap tire but slip in the wet particularly on tram tracks they do the job but the road noise is pretty bad.

I found out about this tire from this site a few months ago and I decided to give it a try. Well, my personal experience with this tire is 8/10, handling on a dry road is intact firmly and no wobble on wet. Highly recommended for those looking for a mid-range tire at the descent price.

These Nankang Ns20 are ok for the price BUT for the same price, you can get better tires.they didn't last me very long! That is the reason why i didn't buy them again. I had bought a four tires for my wife's car and they were surprisingly very comfortable, quiet and looked nice(225/40/18 ) so i then bought 2 tires for my car (215/45/17 ) and i noticed the tires weren't as comfortable as it was before and it had no rim protection lip at all, which made them look kinda like a donut tire lol luckily they didnt last me a long time..but other then that, they are ok. I didn't buy them again though & i wouldn't recommend these tires to anyone.

About half way through my second set of Avid Envigors on my 15 Civic Si sedan. The first set were the factory size (225/40R18). I drive just under 30k miles a year, about 75% highway, regularly cruising well above the speed limit. These tires grip well at high speed in the rain and leave me feeling very reassured. I spend the rest of my time carving through Northern Pennsylvania mountain roads. These tires rode a bit hard but handled amazingly in all conditions whether dry or wet, and provided acceptable snow grip. That is, until the V shape grooves near the center of the tire began to fade from wear, even though the outer grooves have very deep tread remaining. At that point, the tires still resisted hydroplaning well but would break loose at the light and during sudden stops in the wet. My second set were installed on aftermarket wheels and the side wall ratio was upsized to 225/45. These tires ride much softer than the shorter 225/40 ratioed tires and provide a smoother ride while sacrificing a bit of handling prowess. I am able to induce oversteer in the wet with these tires much easier than with the OEM size. The second set is wearing only slightly slower than the original tires. With about 25,000 miles on them now, I will be removing them for my winter tire set but I should be able to get another 10k, quiet and safe miles out of them.

Good tire in handling and grip, but bad quality sidewall, I had them for 10k miles and it has lots of deformation and holes in the sidewall, has to change them really quick

This is stock tire on 2007 Civic Si sedan, is so horrible that I can see any positive side of use them, maybe is low full tires, but don't know, on spring will buy new and make review about that aspect but for now nothing good for this tires. ABS is kick early with this, ESP is easy to kick in, nad one big worning, don't even think to drive not fast just average on wet with this, will kill you. After that experience on wet never try to drive on snow or ice.
