Superb tires that I fitted to my Qashqai to replace the original Bridgestones that barely lasted 20k. I'm approaching 30k and reckon there's about another 5k left. On the muddy country roads where I live they have excellent grip and they're superb in the wet. The only thing they didn't work in was the snow, but then you'd need to buy the Ranger Ice tires for that.

I bought these as replacements for cheaper Kenda tires that were fitted when I bought my freelander, I had considered Goodyear Wranglers but decided to save a few quid and try the Avons.
I was really impressed with the improved road handling and the soft quiet ride, road holding in both wet and dry seems much better as for longevity I cannot really mark with honesty as I have only done about 1500 miles since fitting but as yet they look almost unused.

Although not stated in the specification these tires are rated as Mud and Snow. They performed exceptionaly in the deep snow we experienced late 2010
