Alfa Romeo 146Ti Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Bridgestone Adrenalin RE002 given 91% (195-55-15-W)
Driving on mostly country roads for 1500 spirited miles
They've replaced a Michelin Pilot Exalto 2 set.

The dry grip is fantastic, slightly better than the Michelin's. The handling is great too. The wet grip is below the Michelin's, but no so far. I can't talk about the wear yet, we'll see.

The Exalto cost 40€ more, so the Adenalin are a big bargain. I'll buy them again for sure.

I got the p7's on my 146 Ti some 3 years ago loving them ever since.

Dry grip is awesome especially during the first 6-7.000km.After that they provide a steady amount of traction until the end of their life.

Wet grip : They keep me on my toes in wet conditions.Not inspiring for wet sports driving.

Feedback is amasing.First they Squeak.If you keep pushing they squeak and feel like running on gravel and if you push even more they drift in a controlled manner.It took me a while to get there as this is my first sports car.

Breaking can get your passenger looking for things to hold on to.
Wear is pretty good for the amount of traction provided.Im at 30.000km now with about half the thread left.Dry grip is very good but i really have to be carefull in the wet now.

Overall i think it is a great tire and i would be happy to buy them again.
Unfortunately they don't make them for my car anymore.

Driving on a combination of roads for 12000 average miles
Not a great tire. Dry grip is fair, although they do tend to screech easily if you take a corner at anything faster than a moderate speed. Wet grip is terrible, worse than newer budget tires. Wear is only average (Lasted 12000 miles on the front). These were an ok tire back in 1995 when they were launched, however tire technology has moved on. You can get much better, more modern tires now for less cash.

Were fitted the car when I brought it. Overall pretty dreadful, especially in the wet/ice. Horrible judder when they spin and struggle for grip in the wet, not very progressive and brake traction with little warning, either whilst cornering or braking. In conclusion spend more money and buy some better quality tires.

This tire is absolutely lethal in the wet. Fitted to the rear of my car it would oversteer badly at the slightest lift of the throttle.
It is also noisy and doesn't communicate well.
Made by Goodyear? Obviously not to their specifications.
